DODADOG News / Find-my-dog Is our unique dog finding service

newshound said:
Just a quick Newshound reminder to you all about our Find-My-Dog service
If you (and we all hope you don't) lose your dog, using your location aware smartphone you can now alert all the dodadog members who live or walk nearby by SMS txt message and/or email alert.
Within seconds, users with smart phones will be able to access full details online about the loss of your dog, its call signs, favourite treats, and any other pertinent details. Users with standard mobile phones will receive a txt message giving location and description details.
The more of us willing to help, the better chance there is of finding the lost dog. As with a missing person, the best chance of finding them safe and well, is within the first hour. If we all do our bit we can keep our best friends safe!
Once you have subscribed to Find-My-Dog you will be able to register the initial information we need for an alert such as a description and a photograph.

We have had great feedback from users and the system has proved to be a barking success
Don't wait until it's too late to sign up!
We have had 2 occasions where a dog has been lost and the owner has had to get to a computer in order to sign up wasting valuable time in the search.
So sign up today and tell all of your local doggy friends to do the same, the more people who join dodadog the better the chance of a speedy reunion!
